About Us
Pier 55 Lounge is a friendly southside neighborhood bar which boasts a cool nautical theme with a 7 ft. sailfish as the center of attention.
We serve up great mixed drinks and wine, as well as imported and domestic beer in the bottle, can, and on tap, in buckets and in pitchers.
Pier 55 Lounge has a short list of owners before Bret and Lisa Todd purchased it from Bobby Blair in October 2020, amidst the
COVID pandemic. The bar was opened in June of 1992 by Harvey Garecht Sr. and Glenn Merriman. Merriman sold his
share of the business to Harvey and Gena Garecht who ran the bar until November of 2002 when it was sold to Bobby Blair.
Pier 55 Lounge is one of Springfield’s best small businesses because we are not just in the business of selling alcohol,
we have a dedicated team of bartenders who are committed to delivering a fun and relaxing environment serving the coldest drinks
and best popcorn in town! Each of our bartenders bring a unique style and attitude to the bar and customers love their
diverse personalities, which we feel is a huge part of the success of Pier 55. We invest our time and passion into Pier 55 to ensure
we continue to be a fun and friendly place to visit. We have regular customers who come in to drink, relax and socialize,
and we get new customers every day as well. We are often referred to as Springfield’s “Cheers” bar… everyone knows your name.

Cocktails
Our bartenders can make your favorite cocktail or create the cocktail of your dreams!
Manhattan
Made with whiskey (usually bourbon), sweet Vermouth & bitters (no syrup). Typically served in a stemmed cocktail or martini glass and garnished with a cocktail cherry.
A strong cocktail with slight bitterness and some herbal undertones from the bitters and vermouth. Choose a Manhattan if you're looking for something multi-dimensional with very little sweetness.
Old Fashioned
Made with whiskey (often bourbon or rye), bitters & sugar. Typically served in an “Old Fashioned” glass and garnished with a slice/peel of orange and/or cherry. A strong cocktail that’s definitely on the sweeter side. Choose the Old Fashioned if you’re looking for something a little on the sweeter side.
Bloody Mary
Made with vodka and Zing Zang or Mr&Mrs T's Original Bloody Mary mix, with other spices and flavorings including hot sauces, Worcestershire sauce, celery, olives, salt, black pepper, lemon or lime juice. Celery ribs, cheese sticks, pimento-stuffed olives and lemon wedges can be added for garnish.
Mimosa
The classic Mimosa is made with sparkling wine or champagne and orange juice. 'Poinsettias' are made with cranberry juice instead of orange juice and 'Hawaiian' Mimosas are made with pineapple juice, rum and champagne. Traditionally served in a tall champagne flute and garnished with cherries, grenadine syrup, or strawberries.
Lemon Drop Martini
A lemon drop is a citron vodka-based cocktail that has a lemony, sweet and sour flavor, prepared using lemon juice, Cointreau or triple sec and simple syrup. Served in a chilled, sugar-rimmed martini glass.
Cosmopolitan
Cosmos are made with citron vodka, Cointreau or triple sec, cranberry juice and lime juice. Served in a chilled coupe or cocktail glass and garnished with an orange twist or lime wedge.

Clos du Bois Chardonnay
100% California
This wine exhibits ripe fruity flavors of pear, crisp green apple, vanilla and toasty caramel. A medium-bodied wine, approximately 70% is barrel-fermented to integrate fruit and oak flavors. Partial malolactic fermentation adds a rich texture and buttery component.
Meiomi Pinot Noir
100% California
This wine is very aromatic with notes of bright fruit jam, mocha and oak. The juicy strawberry flavor and fruity notes of boysenberry and blackberry, vanilla, oak and toasted mocha add complexity and depth on the palate.
Smith & Hook Cabernet Sauvignon
100% California
This wine exhibits aromas of cherry and plum with hints of violet, leather and saw dust. The palate is full-bodied and rich with flavors of ripe blackberry, dark cherry and cassis supported by full tannins and notes of vanilla and toasty spice on a complex, long finish.
Hahn Pinot Gris

This wine exhibits generous aromas of pear and green apple accompanied by hints of lemon blossom and stone fruit. The refreshingly juicy palate bursts with flavors of luscious tropical fruit, pear and citrus, resulting in a bright, refreshing finish.
